The Lucy Joy Quintet had their debut performance at the EFG London Jazz Festival in November 2024, where Lucy had the opportunity to showcase her original music with a band of fantastic musicians. This was the final song in the set.

This is Lucy and Thomas's version of Charles Mingus' beautiful ballad, Goodbye Pork Pie Hat, featuring Lucy's original vocalese on the head and an improvised vocalese on the soloing.
